Is there a list of all card set initals for formating?

Asked by CardTyrant 12 years ago

Okay, I'm formating one of my decks so that I can get a accurate cost, but I want specific sets and what not. I know if you type in [M13] you will get that card set, but what if it's from "Return to Ravinca" or "Kamigawa" sets? What would I type in than?

This wiki page lists all the sets and their code. For the expansion sets, look under 'Expansion Code', i.e. 'Return To Ravinca' is RTR,

You will actually need to go by this list in the event that there are discrepancies between the true TLAs for sets and the TLAs in our database (it's happened before).

I think it is interesting that Modern Masters is MMA lol, but yea the "Cards" tab here on TO will take you to a list that has all the uploaded sets and what 3 letter code you need to input to make the card of the chosen type.

Example:

If I wanted to specify which printint of Gilded Lotus I was using I would type in [M13] (Magic 2013) or [MRD] for its original printing in Mirrodin

Next time, start a new thread instead of replying to one that's over a year old.

In what way does DDF not work? It's in the DB, so I assume you mean that it doesn't tag properly?

Put a space between the card name and the set tag.
