is lake of the dead legal in modern?

I'm getting mixed answers and I'm not sure if it is legal??

According to Gatherer, no. It's also on the Reserved List so it won't be reprinted ever.

To be clear: Lake of the Dead was never printed in either a Modern-legal Core Set (8th Edition through Magic Origins) or a Modern-legal expansion set (Mirrodin through Oath of the Gatewatch). That's why it isn't legal in Modern.
