Is Bearer of the Heavens banned in EDH?

I cant find anything on the commander site about this. There are a lot of forums about people wanting it banned because its somehow worse than other card legal in the format. BUT Tappedout says it isn't legal for Commander. this just a bug?

Well for about a week when Sylvan Primordial Was banned it didn't show up on the official site. So that's not really a good source for new bannings either.

You're telling me the only official Commander source is not a good source for information?
They might have slipped on Sylvan Primordial , or it might not have been an official ban until it hit the list.

Yes thats exactly what im telling you. It was made official, then had a week delay before the actual list was edited. it confused a lot of people and was hard to find the Committee post on the matter when you where on spot and told someone it was banned.
Slip or not it kind of ruins dependability for this kind of information ( still just refering to new bans, not ones that have existed for some time)
Though the issue seems to have solved itself on the site. just made me wonder if it had or hadn't been and couldnt find any info on it otherwise.

@_SeriosSkies_: I'm guessing you're referring to the Commander banned list on Wizards of the Coast's website, which takes some time to update because WotC doesn't maintain the format's banned list. The official banned list on mtgcommander.net was updated at the same time the banning was announced.

Actually, no. i'm referring to this ban list. The wizards list didn't update for a little over a month.
Still, this is a question thread that's been resolved. any further discussion can take place in a thread devoted to the topic.

It's fine to continue discussing it here. We're not like MTGS; we don't chop people in half for continuing to post with other information (granted, MTGS has to do that because it doesn't parse answered questions from the forum listings).
The RC is the sole overseer for the format. Generally, they're good about adding cards to the banlist on the Deck Construction page. However, it's the best we've got as far as official sources are concerned.

Always go by the official source rather than T/O's system. If it isn't banned on the Commander website, it isn't banned in Commander.
