infect EDH

how does infect damage work with EDH?

It would be the same as in a regular game, ten poison counters and its game over...

Regardless of your reason for wanting to play infect in EDH it really wouldn't be that good as there aren't that many creatures yet that have infect, but would be nice to see what type of build you come up with. :)

Well, Skithiryx, the Blight Dragon for a general will pretty much do the trick...

Don't quote me on this, but at the shop Friday this came up and nobody could find it online but someone said there was a change and it's 21 poison, mostly to prevent Blightsteel Colossus shenanigans, so that could probably bear checking.

I can't see anything that says there's a change, your person who said there was may just be a sore loser. Commander is a social game, though, and all the rules are based on a gentleman's agreement. If your playgroup decides that 10 poison counters is unfair and you'd like to play it to 21, by all means, play that way. If you're on the forum at the official Commander website, you might want to post a query in the rules discussion, see what the rest of the community thinks about officially changing it.
