Indestructibility granters that aren't Indestructible

Asked by RetroViruses 13 years ago

So, if I were to play, say, an Indestructibility (enchanted creature is indestructible), or one of the umbra's (gets sacrificed if enchanted card is destroyed) on a creature, then the opponent destroys everything (destroy everything, destroy everything except land, ect.), would the creature be saved by the equipment, or would the equipment be destroyed first, thus making the previously indestructible card destructible?

What equipment?

When a destroy-all effect resolves, it checks the information of all permanents it could destroy and notes which ones are indestructible at that time. Those permanents will not be destroyed; all destructible permanents will be.

Since the creature enchanted by Indestructibility is indestructible at the time of resolution, it will survive. The enchantment will not. The same goes for enchantments with totem armor (those enchantments are destroyed as part of a replacement effect, NOT sacrificed).
