If you attach Kusari-Gama on to a Creature with infect, will it deal damage to all creatures defending player controls in -1/-1 counters?

Building a BU infect, and Kusari-Gama 's effect would combo perfectly, if creatures with infect with this card deal damage because of it's effect in -1/-1. Super Contagion Engine?
In addition to Tetsuo, the source has infect, so the damage dealt is infect.

erm.. Guys.. Isn't the source of the damage to all other creatures the Kusari-Gama and not the creature, therefore it wouldn't wither them?

As in it would only wither the creature it was blocked by not the others.

Umm...Good Point. Means it's either insanely OP with infect or just a pretty good card, all based on one, maybe two words...damn...idk which is right.

Yeah on reading the card again it won't do wither damage to the other creatures. At first glance i thought that the equipment let the creature do the damage but since the equipment is doing the damage the equipment is the source and the damage would not be dealt in the form of -1/-1 counters.

No, Aegair's correct.
The card says "...Kusari-Gama deals that much damage to each other creature..."
So it's not infect damage because the creature is not the source.
If it read "Whenever this creature deals damage to a blocking creature, it deals that much damage..." then the damage would be infect.
This is interesting; most cards like this do give the damage to the creature, making the creature the source, rather than the equipment. I think that's why Tetsuo and mafteechr got confused, because I know I certainly expected it to be that way.

Would've missed it if Aegair hadn't said something, honestly.

Yes. all damage dealt by a creature with infect to another creature is in the form of -1/-1 counters.
119.3d Damage dealt to a creature by a source with wither and/or infect causes that many -1/-1 counters to be put on that creature.
