Hundred-Handed One

How does blocking multiple creatures at the same time goes?
I've heard two sides: -You can (the controller of the Hundred-Handed One ) decide where the damage gets assigned, just as assigning damage to blocker goes. -It deals its full damage to every creature it blocks.
Damage assignments work the same both ways. Whether you're attacking or blocking. You have to decide where to assign the damage that have have available. If Hundred-Handed One
is monstrous then you have 6 points of damage to assign to however many creatures you are blocking.
If you block six 1/1's, you would assign 1 point to each, killing all of them.
If you block ten 1/1's, you would only be able to assign 6 points of damage. Which you could assign to six of the 1/1s and leaving 4 alive.
Hope this helps.

As further clarification to Default404's answer though, they are saying "you would" like you have no choice, but you do.
You can assign as much or as little damage to a given creature in a damage assignment order as you like, with the proviso that you can only assign damage to one creature after lethal damage has been assigned to each creature preceding it in the order.
So say your 6/8 Monstrous Hundred-Handed One is attacked by a 1/1 and a Boros Reckoner , the fact that you can block both, and then choose to deal all 6 damage to the 1/1 and none to the Reckoner is super important to know.

So if Hundred Handed One is monstrous, then blocks eight 1/1's: six will die, two will live and Hundred Handed One will die?

You will create a damage assignment order the same way attacking creatures do to multiple blockers. It ABSOLUTELY DOES NOT deal full damage to every creature it blocks.
