How many red mana does the first Rite of Flame of a game generate?
Asked by emblasochist 13 years ago
Is the Rite of Flame in the graveyard when it's ability triggers? Basically, is it 2 or 3 on the first Rite of Flame?

Chrono, you're right, but in the future, please try to quote the rules text relevant.
For example: 304.2. When an instant spell resolves, the actions stated in its rules text are followed. Then it's put into its owner's graveyard.

Yes, and also some punctuation would go down well. Given how complex the rules can get (hence a pdf document of about 170 pages), we need to be as clear and concise as possible when quoting and clarifying rules. I have already mentioned this.

i dont have the time to go read though and memorize the rule documents, my understanding comes from my experiance of 10+ years of playing and the orical ruleings on the site when i look up certain cards.
i did fail to notice that i did not use the word get, and i dont care that i dont use caps because its easyer not to, and only makes a difference to thoughs who get stuckup about punctuation

No, xxxxxxCronoxxxxxx, I am not being stuck-up. I am merely saying that if you're gonna quote rules, then type properly. There are many noobs on the site, with constant additions everyday, and so they will need clarification on a lot of rules - but if they read a post that isn't spelt correctly and is difficult to read, then it is not much benefit; especially compared to members who answer questions a lot (and are clear and concise, usually with rule quotes), such as Leafs_suck, theemptyquiver, Epochalyptik, zandl, etc.
Basically it boils down to taking an extra minute or so when typing. If you can't be bothered to do it properly, then perhaps you shouldn't do it at all. I'm not being harsh, or slating you, I'm just saying put a little more effort into your posts.
I'm pretty sure other members will agree with this.
Thank you. :)
