How many cards is B. F. M.?

Asked by dude1818 13 years ago

Assuming b.-f.-m-(big-furry-monster) was actually legal in EDH, would it count as one card or two?

Hahaha well I'm not entirely sure anyone can really answer that question, but i'd say two because that makes it funnier :D

Because it's two physical cards, and the rules text specifies you have to have "both cards" to play it, it counts as two.

I would say it is two cards, and it would only be legal in an "un" format of EDH. Your commander would have to be from unglued or unhinged (as would every other card), and you would still have to follow all the normal rules (to the best of your ability).

Out of curiousity if you were to make an edh deck with this the rules say "one of each English name" the right side doesn't have a name printed on it so what would happen there I wonder?

Yeah, the method for answering Un-Rules questions is basically to take what you know about the rules, move them over to the left a little bit, then think creatively to figure out what actually makes sense.
