How does Shaman's trance work?

The card states, "You may play lands and cast spells from other players' graveyards this turn as though those cards were in your graveyard" does this mean you can play lands and cast spells from their graveyard or do you need to have some sort of muldrotha effect to take advantage of this card?

There needs to be some other effect that would allow the card to be cast from the graveyard. For example, if Call of the Herd is in your opponent's graveyard, you can use its Flashback cost to cast it.
