How do control, ownership, and destruction of a permanent interact?

Assume I use Thalakos Deceiver to take control of someone creature. Now assume that creature has undying and does not yet have a counter on it. If it dies while under my control does it revert back to its owners control when it comes back to the battlefield? Thalakos Deceiver does say I gain control of it permanently I'm just not sure if that includes the creatures death.

Okay but what if it comes back with Marchesa, the Black Rose 's ability? That says nothing about returning it to its owner.

Never mind I'm dumb it says right on the card the controller retains control.

702.92a Undying is a triggered ability. "Undying" means "When this permanent is put into a graveyard from the battlefield, if it had no +1/+1 counters on it, return it to the battlefield under its owner's control with a +1/+1 counter on it."
It enters the battlefield under it's owner's control. If you don't own the card, the creature will enter on your opponent's side.
