Hideaway cards

Asked by RhysBailey 10 years ago

Are exiled cards that have been returned to the field become exiled again once it leaves or does it just go to the graveyard? For example, I have a windbrisk heights and exile a sorcery card face down that has a flashback cost. After I assign 3 cards to attack and bring the exiled card back to the field as per the requirements of windbrisk heights, the sorcery is then played and resolved. Does the sorcery then go to the graveyard so I can pay the flashback cost and use it again or does it get exiled again so I can't pay the flashback cost to bring it back. I also want to know if this is the case for creatures. If I bring back to the field a creature from windbrisk heights effect, does it get exiled again once destroyed or does it go to the graveyard?

To the graveyard, as normal. Once the card has been cast it is treated just like any other spell, as hideaway doesn't specify that you do anything special with it other than playing it without paying its mana cost.
