Greven, Predator Captain sacrifice & attack

When Greven, Predator Captain attacks and you choose to sacrifice a creature, which triggers both the card draw and life loss, does he get the +x / +0 to his power on that same attack phase?

The ability that says Greven gets +X/+0 is a static ability. In other words, it is always active. For example, if you have out any pain lands like Sulfurous Springs, you can tap it during combat after damage to ping yourself for 1 - and it would boost Greven's power immediately.

Greven's triggered sac ability happens when he attacks but before combat damage. Any life that you lose from that ability will boost his power before combat damage is dealt.

Edit: ping yourself for 1 after your opponent declares blockers.
