Gift of immortality and sacrificing.

If I sacrifice a creature that's enchanted with Gift of Immortality does that creature bounce back or does it stay dead. I know you can't regenerate a sacrifice so does sacrifice count as dying?

Please don't double post your threads.
Sacrificed permanents are put into their owner's graveyard. So yes, they die, and yes, Gift of Immortality 's ability will trigger.
The reason you can't regenerate a sacrifice is that regeneration shields only prevent a permanent from being destroyed. Sacrificing something is not the same as destroying it.
