Straightforward

Can you tap equipped equipment on creatures using Ghirapur AEther Grid?

Yes. Equipment are artifacts; the ability doesn't specify that a particular type of artifact must be tapped.

Yes. As long as they haven't become tapped somehow, they'll be "untapped artifacts you control", so they can be tapped to pay the cost for the Aether Grid. Tapping an attached equipment doesn't interfere with its abilities in any way.

In case anyone reading this is wondering: attacking with or otherwise tapping a creature doesn't cause the auras or equipments attached to it to also tap. Some players turn the whole pile sideways when they tap the creature, but they should only be doing it to the creature.
