Forced Adaptation effect?

Just to be sure, is the effect on Forced Adaptation happens every turn? or is it a one time thing? (New to playing the green aspect of Magic)

It triggers at the beginning of each of your upkeeps. You normally get one upkeep per turn, so it will normally trigger once per turn. (The turn starts Untap, Upkeep, Draw, Main Phase.)
