Flesh / Blood question

Asked by wonder_llama 11 years ago

2 questions really... during my attack, if I bloodrush my attacking creature then cast the blood part of Flesh / Blood , do the extra +1/+1's from the bloodrush get added into the damage dealt with blood? Next question is, if I have a Whip of Erebos on the field giving lifelink to my creatures, would blood gain me life in addition to the life gained form the attack?

Yes to both. A creature's Power (or toughness) is the end result of all the modifiers on it. The printed numbers on the card is just a starting point; you always take into account any effects to determine the creature's final stats. Bloodrush lasts until end of turn, and in your main phase you'll be able to cast Blood , since it's a sorcery.

Because it's the creature itself dealing the damage (as Blood describes), it will gain you life due to Lifelink. If it was the spell dealing the damage, you would not gain the life.
