Equipped creature and Lightning Greaves

I have a creature equipied with anything.

If later I play a Lightning Greaves and equip the previous creature with the Greaves (it has shroud), will the previous equip "drop" from the creature, or it only has shroud for newer things?

Equip only targets as an ability on the stack. Once the equipment is attached to a creature, it no longer targets that creature. Same with Auras - they only target while on the stack.

Therefore, shroud will only prevent equipment and auras from targeting the creature later on. It doesn't interfere with anything already attached to the creature.
