Epic expirement and worldfire interaction

Asked by CalciferDK 12 years ago

I'm putting an Izzet deck together and want to make sure i haven't gotten this all backwards.

Say i cast an Epic Experiment and draw a Searing Spear and Worldfire .

-Does the draw order dictate which spell goes first on the stack or can i chose the order?

  • If so, am i correct in thinking this would result in a win? (assuming i let worldfire resolve first)

You choose the casting order of the instants and sorceries once you have revealed the top X cards of your library.

You would indeed win if you cast Searing Spear , then Worldfire (assuming no counters, exceptions, or responses).

You cast the cards one at a time, choosing modes, targets, and so on. The last card you cast will be the first one to resolve.

When casting an instant or sorcery card this way, ignore timing restrictions based on the cards type. Other timing restrictions, such as Cast [this card] only during combat, must be followed.

If you cant cast an instant or sorcery card, perhaps because there are no legal targets available, or if you choose not to cast one, it will be put into your graveyard.

If you cast a card without paying its mana cost, you cant pay alternative costs such as overload costs. You can pay additional costs such as kicker costs. If the card has mandatory additional costs, you must pay those.

If a card has X in its mana cost, you must choose 0 as its value.

also the card revealed by Epic Experiment are not considered drawn in any order, they are revealed and all revealed at the same time for that matter
