EDH and color identity

so, im playing a RUG edh deck....can i use Nim Deathmantle even though it make my creature black?

Yes. In EDH, the color identity of a card is defined as the colors of the mana symbols in that card's mana cost and text box. Color words do not affect color identity. An example would be Nim Deathmantle or Throne of Empires . Even though these cards may have color words or effects which involve certain colors, they do not have the mana symbols of those colors and are therefore acceptable in EDH decks which may not even run those colors.
