Door of D and Werewolves.

Asked by TDarkRed 11 years ago

Me and some friends have been wondering how Door of Destinies work with Werewolves. Primarily if I have two doors out and say one is Wolves and the other is humans do I stack counters each time they would flip? Does flipping count as a new creature entering the field or is it a pre existing creature? I obviously loose the wolf counter when he turns back right? Or is there some other option I might be missing? Thanks

Also, if I have an Enchantment on said card and it flips, does the enchantment disappear?

A transforming card (flipping) is considered the same permanent; nothing is leaving or entering a zone and any auras on it will remain attached.

Door of Destinies will gain counters when you 'cast' a creature spell of the given type; not when one enters the battlefield, and you certainly won't lose a counter if one leaves the battlefield for any reason.

Here is the relevant rule for Double Face Cards:

711.7. When a double-faced permanent transforms, it doesn't become a new object. Any effects that applied to that permanent will continue to apply to it after it transforms
