Does Viper's kiss negates erebos's emissary ability if it's bestowed on a creature?

Let's say I have Erebos's Emissary bestowed on a creature A, my opponent enchant creature A with Viper's Kiss , can i still give +2/+2 to A by discarding a card? My problem here: Erebos's Emissary +2/+2 thingy is definitely an activated ability and Viper's Kiss prevent A from activating it's ability. BUT, unlike other auras giving activated ability (like Dragon Mantle ), Erebos's Emissary 's wording doesn't say "enchanted creature has "cost:ABILITY", the wording make it sounds like it is erebos's activated ability, even when erebos is bestowed. What do you think?

Yes, IT appears that the +2/+2 ability is an ability of Erebos's Emissary and not the creature that it is bestowed upon.

So, even though the creature is enchanted with Viper's Kiss , Erebos's Emissary 's abilities can still be activated.

And actually, there are numerous aruas that have abilities, but don't grant activated abilities to the creature. one such example is Firebreathing

10/1/2009 This ability can be activated by Firebreathing's controller, not the enchanted creature's controller (in case they're different players).
