Does my mana become colourless or does my pool empty?

So I have Kruphix, God of Horizons on the battlefield and my opponent has an Elite Arcanist with Mana Short exiled under him.

When he uses mana short on me does my pool empty or does it turn into colourless mana with kruphix since he states, if unused mana would empty it becomes colourless instead

Kruphix, God of Horizons has a replacement effect that applies any time unused mana would be emptied from your mana pool, regardless of why it would be emptied. Mana Short won't empty your mana pool; the mana will become colorless instead.
