Does Honor of the Pure count as creatures "having" a +1/+1 counter?

In KTK, some of the creatures give effects to other creatures that "have a +1/+1 counter on them". Does Honor of the Pure provide this counter?

An effect only involves counters if it specifically uses the word counter(s).
Honor of the Pure 's static ability does not use counters. It just confers an effect for as long as Honor of the Pure is on the battlefield.

No, a static buff does not count as having a +1/+1 counter. Once Honour of the Pure, your creatures lose the +1/+1 effect.
Ajani, Mentor of Heroes would be a card that gives +1/+1 counters.
