Does haste remove summoning sickness or simply allows attacking through it?

The reason this matters is Lightning Greaves. If I were to play two creatures in a turn, equip the greaves onto one, then move the greaves to the second, can both attack? If haste "cures" summoning sickness, then even if the greaves were removed, that creature could attack.. but I don't believe that is how the mechanic works.

A creature that has haste is not affected by summoning sickness.

If you were to equip Lightning Greaves to one creature, it would gain haste. If you were then to move them to another creature, the original creature would lose haste, and once again be affected by summoning sickness because the effect giving it haste is no longer there.
