Does Doubling Season double a planeswalker's initial loyalty?

If I have a Doubling Season in play and I cast a Planeswalker, does it enter then get loyalty placed such that it would start with double loyalty?

Kind of. Doubling Season creates a replacement effect that modifies the number of counters that would be placed onto permanents you control. Planeswalkers enter the battlefield with the specified number of loyalty counters. This is a replacement effect that modifies how planeswalkers enter the battlefield; counters are placed on them as they enter; they aren't placed afterward. Doubling Season's ability applies to this initial loyalty count by modifying the counter-placing effect as it applies.
Note, however, that it does NOT apply to the abilities themselves unless the effect of the ability places a loyalty counter. The loyalty symbols to the left of the abilities are costs, so they don't interact with Doubling Season's ability, which cares only about effects.

Your answer is still practically correct. My "Kind of" was in reference to OP's phrasing (you and I posted basically simultaneously).
It's only once you start getting into detail that you need to be more careful about phrasing and making sure you're conveying the situation accurately.

Yes, It would double the loyalty because the number that shows on the bottom right of the planeswalker shows how many loyalty counters it enters with. When the counters are placed on the planeswalker when it hits the battlefield, Doubling Season's replacement effect causes the planeswalker to enter with double the amount of counters.
