Does Double Strike mean double to combat damage to a player?
Asked by BobbertZhubert 12 years ago
So basically, pretend I have a Avatar of Slaughter enchanted with a Curiosity . Since Avatar of Slaughter 's ability gives himself double strike does that mean I get to draw 2 cards if my opponent doesn't block? Shouldn't that be true since the first strike step and the normal strike step are different? Thanks.

Yes. The Avatar of Slaughter will deal combat damage in two separate combat damage steps, so Curiosity 's ability will trigger in each one (assuming Avatar of Slaughter deals combat damage to a player in both steps).
