Does colorless count as a color?

Sounds to good to be true and therefore probably is. However, I was tinkering with the idea of an artifact deck and wanted to double check. When playing with Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx can colorless be chosen?

No. When something in Magic asks you to choose a colour, your choices are White, Blue, Black, Red or Green.

But there's no such thing as devotion to colorless, either, so you wouldn't choose that even if you could. It would be cool, though.
