Does Ancient Ziggurat work with cycling?

If I wanted to cycle Architects of Will could I use Ancient Ziggurat because it's a creature card?

No. You need to actually be casting Architects of Will . Note that Ancient Ziggurat says "spend this mana only to PLAY creature spells." Cycling is an activated ability usable only while in your hand and using it has nothing to do with playing the spell.

I concur with the gentlemen above me. Ancient Ziggurat 's updated oracle text reads:
"T: Add one mana of any color to your mana pool. Spend this mana only to cast a creature spell."
"Play" has been errata'd to "cast". "Cast" is defined as "To cast a spell is to take it from where it is (usually the hand), put it on the stack, and pay its costs, so that it will eventually resolve and have its effect."
And cycling is not casting; cycling is an activated ability.
"702.27a Cycling is an activated ability that functions only while the card with cycling is in a player's hand. "Cycling [cost]" means "[Cost], Discard this card: Draw a card."
Therefore, you cannot use mana ability written on Ancient Ziggurat to cycle a creature card.

no because you are not casting the creature spell. it says "use this mana only to PLAY creature spells" and cycling is not playing
