Do Suspend Cards count for Lich's Mirror
Asked by Sudain 14 years ago
If I have multiple reality-stobes out and then I die with card:Lich's Mirror on the field I shuffle my hand, graveyard and perminates into my deck.
I would argue no, because reality strobe is a sorcery and thus is a spell that lives on the stack.
If yes then I'm hoping the mirror would make a nice 'backup' card for a suspend deck as suspended cards would just keep on ticking. Still would leave me at a disadvantage, just not as large of one.

You are correct, but I think for a different reason. A card with suspend is removed from the game, and so is not in the game. A card that is not in the game is not a Permanent card.
I'm looking it up to find support for my position. I have only been playing for a year, so I don't deal with cards with suspend often.

When "suspended", a card isn't on the stack, it's actually in the exile zone. This distinction can be very important sometimes.
To your question, because the Mirror only makes you shuffle your hand, graveyard, and the permanents you own on the battlefield (phased-out permanents get ignored) into your library, everything else stays where it is. All cards you own in exile stay there (including suspended spells), anything you have in the command zone stays there, and any spells/abilities you have on the stack waiting to resolve will also stay there (and will resolve normally when it comes time for them to do so).

Well, glad I was correct, wish I could have been faster with my finishing explanation.
