Do enchantment creatures die when the creature they're attached to dies?
Asked by jenwhite76 10 years ago
I just made a white enchantment deck that makes good use of enchantment creatures. If I bestow an enchantment creature on another creature, and the creature dies, what happens to the bestowed enchantment creature? Does it stay on the battlefield as a creature or die with the other creature?

@epochalyptik @nayaftw thanks guys! And yeah I saw on the reminder text, but wasn't sure if "not attached to a creature" meant that it stayed after the other creature died.

When an enchanted creature dies, the Aura that was enchanting it normally remains on the battlefield until it is put into its owner's graveyard as a state-based action. However, bestowed Auras turn into creatures as soon as they become unattached, so they don't hit the yard until they themselves are destroyed.
