Convoke with summoning sickness

Hi

Simple question, if I play card with convoke, I can pay mana cost by tapping creatures. Can I tap creature with summoning sickness?

Yes. Summoning sickness only prevents creatures from attacking or activating abilities with the tap symbol in the cost. Costs that require tapping but don't use the tap symbol can be paid for by tapping a creature with summoning sickness. Since convoke doesn't use the tap symbol, you can tap a creature with summoning sickness to pay for it.

Summoning sickness for tapping abilities only applies to that creatures abilities that have a tap symbol...for example you could also tap an elf with summoning sickness to pay for Voice of the Woods . You could even tap Voice of the Woods in this situation since the ability does not use the tap symbol.
