Can you Trickbind Iona's enter the battlefield ability?

Okay, so I just made a mono blue tron deck with trickbinds on the side. The meta at my LGS has a lot of esper gifts, and I was wondering if you could trickbind the Iona trigger so they could not name a color, seeing as it would completely shut me down.

Actually ShamaLamaDingDong, Iona, Shield of Emeria's ability reads "as", which makes it a replacement effect. Since nothing is triggered, you can't Trickbind Iona when she enters the battlefield.
614.1e. Effects that read "As [this permanent] is turned face up . . . ," are replacement effects.

Reading cards is kind of the whole point of linking them. =P

As quoted from the rules:
603.1. Triggered abilities have a trigger condition and an effect. They are written as "[Trigger condition], [effect]," and begin with the word "when," "whenever," or "at." They can also be expressed as "[When/Whenever/At] [trigger event], [effect]."
Since none of those words are used on the card then there is no trigger, her text that enables a player to choose a color happens as she enters, not after.

Please format all cards.

Yes, you may. A triggered ability is an ability that uses the word ''when'', ''whenever'', or ''at''. Since Iona's ability says when this enters the battlefield, it can be countered.
