Can you respond to rolling for Attractions?
Asked by K4nkato 1 year ago
When you roll for attractions, can you take actions before you roll the dice?
That’s all I needed to know!
I was being a bit vague because there’s a lot of things I could do before rolling for attractions, but I wanted to see if there was a window after rolling but before the attraction abilities go on the stack.
Thank you!

It isn't going to be before they go on the stack. But it will be before they resolve and after you roll.

Rolling for attractions is a turn-based action that you take at the start of your pre-combat main phase if you control any attractions. Turn-based actions do not use the stack and can not be responded to. However; you are being a bit vague about what you would like to do and it may be possible to accomplish what you are hoping in a different manner. There is a round of priority during the draw step and so players can take actions before going to the pre-combat main phase, but after the card for turn has been drawn. All attraction abilities are triggered abilities, so you can respond to them after rolling but before they resolve.
