Can you activate Vizkopa Guildmage's second ability after playing him, and then extort?

I was wondering if you would be able to get the added benefit from Guildmage's second ability through extort. Something like this:
You play Vizkopa from your hand. You pay one to extort (from another card you have on the field with extort). You then pay to activate his second ability, which would proc extort into dealing 2 damage to them, and healing you for 1.
I'm fairly certain this DOES NOT happen, but I wanted to check regardless. I'm still new to magic and learning timing on cards. Any insight you guys may have would be great!! Thanks :D

Vizkopa Guildmage
Extort is a triggered ability that uses the stack, and triggers when you cast a spell. That being said, once you cast the spell, and pay your other creature's Extortion cost, that puts Extort on top of the spell being cast. By the time your Vizkopa Guildmage resolves and enters the battlefield, your Extort ability would have already resolved, giving you no chance to use Vizkopa Guildmage second ability to deal extra damage.
