Can my hand size exceed 7 cards during my opponents turn and into my own turn?

As I understand the cleanup step; it only apply to the player who's turn is about to end. Therefore, if my hand size during my opponents turn comes to exceed 7 cards, e.g. because of Rhystic Study, I will have the entirety of my turn (the one about to start) to reduce my hand size before my cleanup step comes around and I would have to discard.
