Can multiple creatures attack multiple players?
Asked by GodCyphus 6 years ago
If I have 2 Goblin Arsonist then can one attack Player 1 and the other attack Player 2 or do they need to both attack the same thing?
The rules for a particular multiplayer variant require attacking a specific player (such as the player to your left) or only one player per turn. While most people play free for all where they can attack any number of players in a turn, these rules should be determined before the game starts.

Neotrup Would it be assumed that the game is being played free for all?

Depends on your playgroup, but I would call it the default personally.

Your creatures do not have to all attack the same player.
If you have enough creatures, you could have individuals attack each opponent and/or any planeswalkers they control. All of these attacks get declared at the same time at the beginning of the Declare Attackers Step. This is a turn based action that does not use the stack.
