Can I tap a 4/4 elemental made with Koth's +1 for mana?

I tap a Mountain to add one red mana to my pool, then untap that mountain with Koth of the Hammer making it into a 4/4 elemental. Can I tap that creature for an additional mana?

Koth of the Hammer

Koth's +1 ability specifies that the Land being targeted is "still a land" and thus maintains all implicit abilities of that land, which includes the ability to tap it for mana. HOWEVER since the land is now a creature it is subject to summoning sickness, and if you have not controlled the land you've untapped with Koth since the beginning of your turn then it will be unable to use activated abilities with the tap and untap symbols in them, including the activated abilities of a basic land.

In practical terms this only really means that you cannot untap and then re-tap lands you've played that turn, but there are some interactions where this may be important so it's nice to know about these specifics.
