Can I make a creature Instant speed "unblockable" after blockers are declared?
Asked by paintballnsk 7 years ago
Hi,
Let's say I have Thassa, God of the Sea and another creature on the board. I attack with the other creature, my opponent declares blockers, can I then activate Thassa's ability to make him unblockable, or is it too late at that point?
Thanks!
The only application would be for changing blockers through a spell or ability (eg. False Orders).

You can still activate the ability, but it won't do anything at that point. Once a creature has been blocked, it remains blocked until the end of combat. It'll still be blocked, even if it gains evasion or if you remove the blocker.
