Can I activate Bomat Courier right after it's trigger resolves?

If I attack with Bomat Courier , and it is blocked by a 2/2, can I exile a card as I attack, using the Bomat Courier trigger, and then activate Bomat Courier's ability before the combat damage step?

Sure you can. You even have multiple chances to activate the ability. It triggers once he’s declared as an attacker, after that, you have the end of the declare attacker step as well as the end of the declare blocker step to activate his ability and get all the exiled cards into your hand before combat damage is dealt and he dies.
