Can Elite Arcanist have 2 cards exiled with him via Strionic Resonator?

If i played Elite Arcanist and copied his etb effect with Strionic Resonator would i be able to exile 2 different instants and use both, if so would i be able to use them separately or have to pay for and use both ?

Yes, this can work. If you copy the triggered ability on him you may exile an additional spell, and then cast a copy of both of the exiled cards. Just remember that X will always be equal to the sum of both the exiled spells, and you can't choose to cast just one or the other.

Yes you could, and you would have to pay the total CMC and would make copies of both. Casting is a may so you can choose if you want to cast both. Elite Arcanist 's abilities are what are known as linked abilities.
607.3. If, within a pair of linked abilities, one ability refers to a single object as the exiled card, a card exiled with [this card], or a similar phrase, and the other ability has exiled multiple cards (usually because it was copied), the ability refers to each of the exiled cards. If that ability asks for any information about the exiled card, such as a characteristic or converted mana cost, it gets multiple answers. If these answers are used to determine the value of a variable, the sum of the answers is used. If that ability performs any actions on the exiled card, it performs that action on each exiled card.

From the Gatherer rulings for Strionic Resonator:
7/1/2013 In some cases involving linked abilities, an ability requires information about the exiled card. When this happens, the ability gets multiple answers. If these answers are being used to determine the value of a variable, the sum is used. For example, if Elite Arcanists enters-the-battlefield ability is copied, two cards are exiled. The value of X in the activation cost of Elite Arcanists other ability is the sum of the two cards converted mana costs. As the ability resolves, you create copies of both cards and can cast none, one, or both of the copies in any order.
So, like it says, you can do this, but you have to pay the combined converted mana cost of the two spells and then can cast one, none, or both of them.
