Can Ancestral Statue return itself?

When Ancestral Statue enters the battlefield enters the battlefield it can return target non land permanent you control to your hand.My question is say you cast Ancestral Statue can you have its enter the battlefield effect trigger on itself and return the Ancestral Statue just cast to your hand?

Yes, you can have it choose itself, because at the time its triggered ability goes on the stack, it is a permanent that can be chosen. Not sure why you would want to, but you can.

Note: If it said "Return another nonland permanent..." Then you would not be able to, because it would not be able to target itself.

Also note: This ability does not target, so if for some reason it had shroud or protection, you would still be able to return it to your hand.
