Can a nonblack card utilize swampwalk?

Can I give my Glistener Elf swampwalk with my Nighthaze or is a creatures ability to landwalk reliant on ITS mana source? Maybe a silly question but I've learned to question my assumptions. When in doubt, ask. Thanks in advance to anyone who takes a moment to help answer my question.

Basically, yes. There are plenty of examples of creatures with Basic Land Type-walk in colors outside of that the mana source produces. See Woodlot Crawler and Hillcomber Giant .
