boros reckoner infinite combo.

if i give Boros Reckoner lifelink, and then deal damage to it. and keep directing the damage from the reckoner to itself, you keep gaining infinite life. am i correct?

Only if it is indestructible. Otherwise, it dies once it takes damage equal to its toughness.

In order to gain infinite life, you must first deal damage to the reckoner, then give it lifelink, then make it indestructible. If you don't make it indestructible then the damage that would be lethal will destroy it causing your loop to "fizzle".

but doesn't the ability trigger on the stack and not stop unless you want it to.
