Board Wipe With More Than One Blood Artist?
Asked by Esper_Silence 11 years ago
If I were to have 10 creatures on the battlefield, 2 of them being -Blood Artis-t, & someone plays any board wipe card to kill creatures like -Supreme Verdict- , -Planar Cleansing- , -Mutilate- , -Mizzium Mortars- how much life does the opponent lose?
Since they all die together, do Blood Artist's ability still take effect? & if so, how much life is lost with 2 Blood Artists, & 8 other creatures on the board?
Thanks!

So even though both "Blood Artist" all die at the same time as all the creatures, the ability still happens from one or both cards & they lose all the life from 10 creatures dying? I'm looking for a specific rule stating what happens, thanks for the input though!

Blood Artist 's Gatherer entry:
"If Blood Artist and one or more other creatures die at the same time, its ability will trigger for each of those creatures."
The result of the scenario you describe above would be 20 instances of the Blood Artist 's trigger.

By the way, to link a card you must put double brackets around it with no spaces.
So [ [blood artist] ] = Blood Artist .

Thank you! Answer #5 would've been my next question! I kept trying different things, it wasn't working lol.
I'll +1 your stuff for the double answer. Thanks again buddy.
