Bident of Thassa question

Asked by abenz419 11 years ago

Does the Bident of Thassa allow you to draw a card for each creature that deals combat damage to your opponent, or is it just one card every time combat damage gets through to your opponent

It is for each time combat damage is dealt (usually once for each creature dealing combat damage to your opponent).

The key to this is "Whenever a creature you control" so whenever that condition is met you will draw a card.

If for instance a creature has double strike and is unblocked, you will draw a card for EACH time it deals damage.

"Whenever a creature you control deals combat damage" will trigger for each creature that deals damage. Hit your opponent with 5 guys and you get 5 cards, which is pretty awesome.

ok yeah that is pretty awesome... when I first saw it I thought that's how it worked, but then I started questioning my initial instincts and wasn't sure if it was for each creature, or just one time whenever combat damage got through to your opponent.
