becoming creatures and entering the battlefield?

if i play a Soultether Golem with a card like Glint Hawk Idol or card:Angel's Tomb on the board would Idol or Tomb becoming a creature until end of turn count as another creature entering the battlefield under my control? and therefore providing counters?
Soultether Golem actually states ''comes into play under your control" is this just an outdated term?

Not really (it says "enters the battlefield under your control" with current Oracle text), but the main concept here is that Glint Hawk Idol is not coming into play or entering the battlefield. It is an existing permanent that is just gaining new types.

No. Glint Hawk Idol is not entering the battlefield; it's already on the battlefield. It just gains the type "creature" until the end of the turn. In order for something to enter the battlefield it must be coming into play from another zone in the game.
