Beastmaster triggers in combat.

I am building a rogue modern deck right now and have to a rules question, if beastmaster's ascension has x counters on it and you attack with enough creatures to bring it up to 7 counters, will the +5/+5 bonus be given to my creatures before damage will be dealt?

Yes. Beastmaster Ascension 's ability triggers when you declare attackers, so it will have the counters long before the combat damage step.

That Red Sorcery from AVR that gives you 3 Humans tokens with haste could be REALLY good with Beastmaster Ascension .

HRRMMM....

You can drop Beastmaster Ascension and swing with seven creatures, activating the +5/+5. It says that when a creature attacks, put a counter on it.
