Another question about Call to the Grave

Asked by Warbringer 12 years ago

The people i play with it really is just causal for fun. usually 4 people last man standing.

If i used Call to the Grave and

Player 1 had 2 creaturesplayer 2 had 1player 3 had 2

player 2 would sac it thus having no creatures on his battle field ( assuming he brought non out b4 ending his turn ) since he has no one his field would i have to sac Call to the Grave or because other people playing them game have creatures out id still keep it?

The battlefield is only one zone. Players don't have separate battlefields, they just control individual objects on the same battlefield. If there are creatures still anywhere on the battlefield, Call to the Grave doesn't get sacrificed.

Which is why, since it specifies non-Zombie creatures, if you have any Zombies, Call to the Grave won't be sacrificed, even if there are no non-Zombies on the battlefield. An effective way to keep down your opponent's creatures.
