So Im looking at my EDH deck, and I understand the concept of the pie chart that shows that colors used in all the spells vs the land, but the inner land chunks are all also divided into sections. I was wondering if anyone knew what they meant.

Outer chunks = spell colours, inner chunks = mana produced by the deck. This way you can compare how heavily you're in a colour compared to how much mana you produce of that colour. It also divides it up into fast mana vs slow mana (tapped vs untapped).

I believe they mean fast lands (etb untapped) and slow lands (etb tapped).

This is not to be confused with the nicknames fast land and slow land respectively.
